Turkey Chili Cheese Fries with Giardiniera

My husband got me a stocking full of giardiniera this year (we are weird, I know). That may sound crazy, but it doesn’t last long in our house! I love it on everything from pasta to potatoes. Using the giardiniera on these fries makes them the ultimate combo of sweet and spicy. Keep this recipe on-hand for your Super Bowl party and plan to wow your crowd!

1. Preheat oven to 425. Lay fries on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add turkey and onion and cook until turkey is crumbled and no longer pink. Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt, pepper, tomato paste, chicken broth and beans and cook for 5 minutes longer.

3. Place the cooked fries in a cast iron skillet and top with chili, cheese and giardiniera. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

4. Once out of the oven, top the cheese fries with sour cream and serve.
