Pepper Jack Pimento Cheese

‘Tis officially the season for get-togethers and comfort food. Pimento cheese is one of my favorite simple appetizers to prepare around the holidays. This slightly spicy version is fantastic served as a dip with veggies, crackers or pretzels; it can also be used as a sandwich spread. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy for up to 1 week.

  1. Place pepper jack and Colby jack cheeses in the bowl of a stand-up mixer and combine with the cream cheese on medium speed until combined.

2. Add diced pimento, mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper, to taste. Mix again on medium speed until combined.

3. Scoop into a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before enjoying. Serve with fresh cut veggies, crackers, pretzels or as a sandwich spread.
