
Strawberries are abundant at our local grocery stores right now and I love to use them for smoothies in the morning. This particular smoothie recipe is high in protein thanks to the cottage cheese and nut butter, making it a perfect breakfast to start your day. This smoothie is a combination of strawberry, banana and orange which delivers a wonderful sweet and tart flavor.
- Place strawberries, frozen banana, orange, milk (or water), nut butter, vanilla, hemp seeds, flax seeds, honey, salt and ice cubes in a high speed blender and process until smooth.


2. Add cottage cheese and blend again until smooth.

3. Pour smoothie into glasses and enjoy right away, or keep in the fridge until ready to enjoy.

Creamy Strawberry Smoothie
Serves 4
All you need:
6 strawberries, washed and hulled
1 banana, peeled and frozen
1 orange, peeled and quartered
1 cup milk, dairy or non-dairy (or water)
2 tablespoons nut butter (or seed butter)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon hemp seeds
1 teaspoon flax seeds
1 teaspoon honey
Pinch salt
6 ice cubes
1 cup cottage cheese
All you do:
