1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Place the olive oil, garlic, goat cheese, cream cheese, romano (or parmesan), salt and pepper in food processor and pulse to combine.
3. Transfer goat cheese mixture to a 6-inch cast iron skillet or small baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook, stirring often, until golden brown. Add balsamic, salt and pepper and stir to combine.
5. Once out of the oven, spoon fig jam over the warm goat cheese and top with onions. Serve immediately with bread, crackers and/or veggies.
Warm Goat Cheese Dip with Fig Jam and Balsamic Onions

All you need:
Goat Cheese Dip
2 tablespoons olive oil

8 oz. plain goat cheese
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup freshly grated romano cheese (or Parmesan)
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Onions
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small yellow onion, sliced thin
2 teaspoons aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons fig jam
Toasted baguette slices, buttery crackers and/or fresh-cut veggies, for dipping
