1. Combine marinade ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
2. Place halibut filets in a ziploc bag and pour 1/2 the marinade over. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill halibut for 4 minutes per side, brushing with the remaining marinade as you go.
4. Transfer fish to a serving platter and enjoy!

All you need:
Marinade
2 tablespoons canola oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 shallot, minced
1/4 bunch cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup mae ploy sauce (chili garlic sauce)
1/4 cup tamari (or soy sauce)
2 teaspoons fish sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Zest and juice of 1 lime
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 (6 oz.) halibut filets, skin removed
